1. Are Semaglutide and Tirzepatide FDA-approved?
Semaglutide and tirzepatide are FDA-approved medications for certain indications. However, medications provided through this program may be compounded formulations prepared by a licensed U.S. compounding pharmacy when appropriate and legally permissible.
Compounded medications are not reviewed by the FDA for safety or efficacy in the same manner as commercially manufactured drugs. They are prescribed based on an individualized medical assessment.
2. How do I know if I qualify?
All patients must complete a comprehensive medical evaluation prior to receiving treatment. This includes:

Medication will not be prescribed if lab results suggest unsafe conditions for treatment.
4. How is the medication delivered?
If prescribed, medication is dispensed by a licensed U.S. compounding pharmacy and shipped directly to your home. Emerald Family Health does not manufacture, compound, or dispense medications.
5. What if I experience side effects?
GLP-1 medications can cause side effects including, but not limited to:

Rare but serious complications
Patients are monitored regularly. If concerning symptoms occur, you must seek appropriate medical evaluation. In case of emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
6. Is the initial consult refundable?
The $199 consultation fee is non-refundable. However, it is waived with enrollment in a 3-month program commitment.
